You gave the graphics an 8.3? Uhm, what? Why did you give a game such as this that score and you gave (or at least a fellow reviewer gave) Territory Wars a 9? Come on Shawn, Bias isn't right. And you know that and were doing a good job of preventing it. But come on!

Do I think exmortis has better graphics than territory war? of course I do. But I didn't write that review, and I don't think it's my place to change it either. Ok, so let's assume that TW was given a higher graphics score due to bias- should I then all rate all future games to compensate for the original bias? If we remove territory war from the equation here I think 8.3 is a fair score, especially considering how much more improved the graphics are in Exmortis 2.

That got a 10 in graphics. The graphics, in my opinion, shouldn't be how it is compared to the other 100,000 flash games floating around the internet, rather HOW THE GRAPHICS SUIT THE GAME. You can have the simplest graphics in the world but an amazing game and as long as the graphics COMPENSATE the game, then they are great. Are the graphics in that example I showed that amazing COMPARED to other games? No. Do they suit the game, and make it fun? You better believe they do.
Going game to game comparing graphics is stupid. Flash games can excel without having top-notch graphics which is where they differ from console games. So the bottom line is, in my opinion, I think the graphics category should be rated on how the graphics can be improved within the CONTEXT OF THE GAME itself rather than games that have half the value but some fancy graphics.
So yeah, before commenting you should be aware of that.

Alright, I thought it was both, the graphics suiting the game and how they faired against others of their kind. I never said that it deserved a 10 for graphics, yet I may have implied it. You need a scaling chart or something to define what deserves what. IGN and most other major review givers have one. Sorry for the mild inconvenience, and don't be angry at me for argueing. You know that if you didn't want arguement, you wouldn't make these reviews public topics. Most people probably agree, I just happend not to. Sorry.
