At FGN we rate games according to a ten-point scale, including decimals. That means the highest rating a game or category can get is a 10, and the lowest is a 0. We currently rate games in the following areas: graphics, sound, gameplay/control, and presentation. The overall rating is not necessarily an average of the other ratings, but it can be close. We assign as short description to each rating level and they are as follows:

10.0- Perfect
9.0-9.9- Outstanding
8.0-8.9- Great
7.0-7.9- Good
6.0-6.9- Decent
5.0-5.9- Average
4.0-4.9- Below Average
3.0-3.9- Poor
2.0-2.9- Bad
1.0-1.9- Terrible
0.0-.9- Worthless
