Pico turns Streetfighter

This game is a fighter game that features the character of Pico, originally created by Tom Fulp. This game has a few different enemies to fight who each have different weapons. There are also two different modes of playing the game, story mode or arcade mode. There are also game play difficulties that you can choose from.

I was actually surprised with this game. Unlike some online games, this game was extremely easy to play. With the use of the arrow, X and Z keys to move and fight, it made the game that more functional.

The graphics were done pretty well, though when Pico knocks out an enemy, Pico’s hand gets larger and it’s not drawn as well as the rest of the graphics. The sound and effects were done very well, though I would have liked to hear the guys make noise when they got hit.

There were some problems that I noticed with the game. One of those problems was that it was way too easy to beat the game in less than 10 minutes on the medium difficulty in the story mode. If you back the enemy into the corner and keep kicking, you’re going to win. In arcade mode you choose a character to play versus Pico. Some of the movements that the characters make if they have a gun or sword need some work. There also weren’t enough levels and you pretty much knew what to expect level to level, so it wasn’t really too exciting.

Even though the game wasn’t too bad to play, it just looked rushed and a little sloppy as a whole.
